Moved with his parents to the Gdansk region of Northern Poland in 1945.  Sailor, steward, and barman.  Worked for the Polish PLO and PZB shipping companies.  Retired in 1996 after 40 years of work on the sea.  Hobbies: computers, genealogy, and sport, especially professional boxing.
Usually spends his vacations camping in the Masurian Lake District in Northern Poland.

Collected about 1,500 pictures and documents from the Pieniazek family, scanned them into his computer and published a CD-ROM archive entitled: "6 Pokolen Pieniazkow w Fotografii" (Six Generations of the Pieniazek Family in Photography).  If you would like to receive a CD-ROM with this collection going back as far as 1854, please contact Leszek.  If you would like your photographs and documents to be included on this CD-ROM, please write to Leszek.
