Number 15, Trebaczew
This happened in the village of Lubania on November 5, 1857. We make it known that in the presence of witnesses: Stanislaw Waniszewski, age 36, and Wawrzyniec Szymanski, age 40, servants residing in the village of Trebaczew, a religious marriage was contracted today between Antoni Snopek, unmarried, born in Trebaczew on June 14, 1835, thus age 22, son of the married couple Snopek: Marcin and Karolina née Morecka, servants in Trebaczew, a day-laborer, residing in Trebaczew on leave from the military service that was granted on October 11/23 of this year (the first date is in the Julian calendar used in Russia and the second date in the Gregorian calendar used in Poland and in most of the rest of Europe) by the permit number 15,532, with Tekla Biskupowska, unmarried, daughter of the married couple Biskupowski: Michal a servant in Krasocin, and of the late Magdalena née Kowalczyk, born in Krasocin, age 22, a servant in the village of Trebaczew, both Roman-Catholic. This wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns in the Lubania parish church on October 4, 11, and 18 of the present year and by the oral consent of both of the parents of the groom and of the father of the bride. There was no impediment to the marriage and the newlyweds declared that they have made no prenuptial agreement. This document was read aloud to the reporting persons and to the witnesses and signed only by us because the other concerned persons were illiterate.
