Record 51, Krasocin (about 50 kilometers/30 miles west of Kielce)
This happened in the village of Krasocin on September 20, 1835 at 4 p.m. Appeared before us Michal Biskupowski a farmer residing in the village of Krasocin, age 20, in the presence of Stanislaw Jachimczyk, a farmer, residing in the village of Krasocin, age 40, and also Mateusz Lisek, a farmer, residing in the village of Mieczyn, age 30, and showed us a female child declaring that she was born in Krasocin, in house number 20 on September 20 of the present year (September 20, 1835) to his wife Magdalena née Kowalczyk. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Tekla, and the godparents were: the above mentioned Stanislaw Jachimczyk and Klara Zietalowa. This document was read aloud by us to the reporting person and to the witnesses and was signed only by us as they are illiterate.
