Ellis Island records for Pieniazek

In the Spring of 2001, the American family Immigration History Center released on the Internet the documentation for the 22 million of immigrants to America, who from 1892 to 1924 passed through Ellis Island, New York.  The original documents have many errors in the spelling of the first names, last names, places of birth, and places of last residence.  Unfortunately, a lot of additional errors were introduced by the volunteers, who transcribed the records and entered them into the database.  Of course, many immigrants were illiterate and did not know how to spell their first and last names as well as the places of residence.

There are 18 persons with the Pieniazek surname in the Ellis Island database.  You may click on each name to go to the Ellis Island database, open the Ship's Manifest, and inspect the scans of the original documents.
